Rainy Day Activities

Although the Okanagan is known for having hot and sunny days, we do get the odd rainy day. So, what is there to do in West Kelowna and Westbank on a rainy day? We have lots to do!

• - Visit the Westbank Museum and learn about our history.
• - Visit Johnson Bentely Aquatic Centre - take in a swim, enjoy a workout in the fitness facility or warm up in the sauna and hot tub.
• - Take in a movie at the Capital Theatre - with 5 different screens, you are sure to find the perfect flick.
• - Visit one of the wineries - taste some wine and go on one of the tours.
• - Visit Gellatly Nut Farm - the natural canopy of the tall nut trees offer shelter if it is not raining too much.
• - Book  an appointment at one of our spa and wellness centres.
• - Do some shopping - from big box stores like Walmart and Zellers to boutique stores - rainy days call for shopping therapy.
• - Savour a cup of hot tea or coffee at one of our specialty tea and coffee houses.
• - Book an appointment to visit one of our local artist studios.
